***Two time recipient of an Honorable Mention in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest.*** Angela is a writer living in Los Angeles. Nomadic by nature, she is from St. Louis, MO originally, spent a few years in Austin, TX, and has no idea where she'll end up, geographically speaking. She began writing in high school, and fell deeper in love with the craft as time progressed. As her writing evolved, so did her commitment to it. Her debut novel Otherworlders is available on Amazon.
I'm a career Naval Officer (that has recently retired) and a secret science fiction writer. I live by the sea under the benevolent rule of my canine overlords and a variety of unruly family members. My first published series, Silo 49, cemented my passion for writing. My newest series is the Between Life and Death series, a post-apocalyptic trilogy that readers from 13 to 70 seem to love. I've also written Strikers, a YA dystopian adventure, plus many stories in various anthologies. I love to hear from readers so drop me a line on my website, http://www.annchristy.com. You can find sneak peaks and a great deal of randomness there on my blog.

Picture an 11-year-old girl with pen in hand, spiral notebook in her lap. That was me, back in the beginning: a shy little girl with glasses, who wanted more stories about her favorite characters...so she wrote them. And nothing ever really changes. What's been most important to me throughout my life is FAMILY, and that's what I write about - whether the story involves a couple of investigative reporters digging into a series of mysterious drownings, or a young girl who discovers that her colony's alien "staff" is being mistreated and killed, or a harried woman searching for "something simple." It all comes down to FAMILY, the one we're born with, and the ones we build through marriage, friendship, and shared experiences. I was a secretary for 38 years. Now I'm a full-time writer and editor. I work on a laptop, but at heart I'm still a little girl with a pen who's anxious to share her stories.
