My husband Cory and I had an awesome time at Fanboy Expo. I loved seeing local and regional friends, and I met a lot of wonderful new people, too. I’m looking forward to coming back next year and possibly visiting other cities where Fanboy Expo hosts events.
I’m very excited to be working with Jerry Cornell and C. Andrew Nelson of Adventurous Ideas on my first full-season audio drama.
Casting for the eight-episode story is currently in-progress, and I’ll be releasing a novelization in ebook, paperback, and hardcover formats.
Extinguished Worlds centers around an eighteen-year-old named Caleb Gregory who discovers he can see ahead into the future and sometimes act in response to the visions. He uses this ability to avert his brother from being killed in an accident, and the two are later contacted for a dangerous but lucrative salvage operation.
Not everything about the mission is what it seems, however, and Caleb foresees the deaths of everyone involved—including himself. The shock of this involuntarily pushes his ability to its brink—resulting in him waking up in a hospital decades in the past instead of hours or minutes.
Confused and surrounded by a group of superheroes who claim to have known an older version of him for years, Caleb has to recover and navigate a way back to his own present—if someone in the past doesn’t kill him first.
Along with the works of over 25,000 other creatives from 123 countries, a digital collection of my books, personal photos, and an overview letter will be sent across three missions currently slated from 2022 to 2024:
The Peregrine Collection
Lacus Mortis, October 2022
United Launch Alliance / Astrobotic Technologies Peregrine Lander
The Nova Collection
Oceanus Procellarum, January 2023
SpaceX / Intuitive Machines Nova-C Lander
The Polaris Collection
Lunar South Pole, November 2024
SpaceX / Astrobotic Technologies Griffin Lander / NASA VIPER Rover
After two years of lock-down, I will be back at Fanboy Expo this year at the Knoxville Convention Center.
FRIDAY, August 5, 2022, 12pm – 7pm
SATURDAY, August 6, 2022, 10am – 6pm

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up. Celebrity guests this year include Christopher Lloyd, Thomas Jane, Jamie Farr, Loretta Swift, Melissa Gilbert, Edward James Olmos, and more being added.

A Post-WW2 Anthology
THE WAR IS OVER, BUT THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES!
The end of World War II brought with it a renewed chance for peace, hope, and prosperity to the strife-ridden nations across the globe, but for some people treachery, intrigue, and conflict was in their blood…whether they liked it or not.
You’re enlisted to join forces with six stalwart pulp writers as they march into occupied territory in post-war Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Axis Powers have been vanquished, though in some camps the news either falls on deaf ears, or is a signal to work even harder to bring about the downfall of freedom-loving people everywhere.
OCCUPIED PULP offers all the two-fisted, slam-bang action and adventure that are hallmarks of the pulp tradition. Along the way, you’ll encounter fascinating heroes and villains who wage a mighty struggle to either protect the fragile peace or set the wheels of conflict and destruction back in motion.
Stay vigilant! Some enemies have not yet laid down their arms!
Featuring stories by Will (DOC SAVAGE) Murray, William Patrick (FU MANCHU)Maynard, Patricia (HANNARIA) Gilliam, Bobby (SNOW) Nash, Justin (STORM’S FURY) Bell, and John C. (MIDNIGHT GUARDIAN) Bruening.
OCCUPIED PULP created by Jim Beard and John C. Bruening.

The Heroes of Corvus
After a former opponent dies during a rigged match against another villain, Icarus investigates the cause—a superpower-enhancing drug called Relanta, a.k.a. Roulette. Its distributor is targeting vulnerable young heroes and even civilians in major cities, and all the evidence begins to lead to a superhero the police and feds can’t touch.
Icarus can put an end to it—if he doesn’t get framed in the process.
This is a short story prequel to The Heroes of Corvus: A Superhero’s Duty and takes place five years earlier.
A Science Fiction Exploration
The universe waits for no one…
When you discover you’re not alone, will you be ready?
Adventures start within and expand beyond. From a world of shadows to one of light. Fantastic races vying for dominance. A microcosm of the greater good. Battles fought for higher ideals. Battles fought just to survive.
War doesn’t care about human or alien. They fight, and they fight hard, as if the lives of their soldiers depend on it.
Because they do.
